I have always had a desire to help people and to see them develop and succeed. I trained as a barrister originally; but switched career paths in 2010.

I have worked as a counsellor for Marriage Care Nottingham (working with couples and individuals) and Nottingham Trent University Counselling Service and I’ve recently been recruited to work for Relate Nottinghamshire.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).

I am passionate about helping relationships in difficulty recover and offer couples therapy that has a high success rate.

I am also experienced in helping high-performing individuals who are suffering with stress and anxiety (usually work based) especially understanding the pressures faced in Law firms today.

I use an integrative counselling therapy model (Egan Skilled Helper) and emotionally focused therapy (Johnson). This means I can work with individuals on a short term basis (around 8 sessions) and can explore deeper issues (with couples) over a longer term basis (around 15 sessions).

I am based in Nottingham and I am able to offer face to face appointments as well as FaceTime/Skype or telephone counselling.

“I like to think of counselling as Personal Training for your wellbeing. If you can pay to look good, why not to feel good!”

“…we at Marriage Care know how good a counsellor you are and your clients will quickly discover your skills and your natural empathy”
